Little time for posting. We're getting into the thick of the big project and dealing with the usual frustrations - P gets frustrated by me wanting to do more up front research than she does. She's impatient to be swinging a hammer. So far, we've been able to talk about it and come up with solutions.
This morning she brought up her promise to stay "as long as necessary". She's freaking out realizing what a big project it is. I let her off the hook and told her that I didn't really believe her when she said it. (Well, actually, I did believe it when she said it, but came to doubt it over time. Same difference, I guess.) She laughed and said, "That's good!" and sounded greatly relieved.
I'm worried about how I'll get it all done, but I don't want her sticking around if she's twitching to go. So, we'll see. I can worry about that later.
I also noticed that once she got me to give positive feedback on her buff bod, she backed right off. Just wanted to make sure I'm still on the hook, I guess. Well, she can't resist asking me to scratch her back now and again.
I have to limit GAL stuff because she's come all this way to help on my project. It's really lame if I'm off playing and impeding progress. I get more points for being ambitious and productive.
I'm still with the program on eating, exercise, and PMA. I'm away every other week for work and I have one evening commitment on the week I'm home. That all seems reasonably balanced.
Okay, back to the picnic y'all. Or, wait, are we meeting at NG's pool?
