too late, bug! i just sent him the email. he's working at his office so i know he'll see it tonight. here it is:

"you asked me what i need. i thought long and hard and came up with 35 things. however, that might be a little overwhelming for anyone to read. so, i'm only telling you what i put as number one and what i would have to have from a husband. i wouldn't have to have it from a friend or a lover because they wouldn't mean that much to me. but from a husband, i consider it essential.

1. I need a man to feel that our relationship is the most important relationship in his life.

i think the other 34 things flow from this. i would like you to tell me what this would mean to you.

so, it's out there. and you're right, bug. if this bothers him then it won't work. i know because we've tried it without this and it didn't. and now, i can't go back. i've learned to love myself too much (from all of you and your great wisdom)!
