First of all, I don't know if she can really dictate whether or not you will be 100% responsible for the tuition to private school. A divorce court would probably have something to say on that. The best interests of the kids usually supercedes a WAS's selfishness.

Plus, I have a suspicion that she told you that knowing that you would not pull the kids out of private school. She'd probably have a fit if you said, 'okay, we're pulling them out and putting them into public school'.

But as far as your response to this text goes... I want to tell you to reply with "No. Have you?" But that would not be right. LOL

I agree with LITB. Something simple letting her know that you have it under control.
