I know that this is a simple text & I should be able to respond with an easy answer, but would like to field it for some perspective, so I don't put my foot in my Arse.
W: Did you pay the kids tuition yet?
Background: when W left, she made it clear to me that if the kids were to remain in Private school, that I would be responsible for 100% of the tuition. I said ok, no worries. She is the one that wanted them to be in Private school from the beginning. Based on where we live, I totally agreed. Financially it straps me, but I am not going to take the kids out of a school that they perform at fantastically & put them through more turmoil than they are already going through as it is.
I forgot to pay the tuition before I left to go out of town for work & contacted the school after they sent me an email to remind me. The bookkeeper said it was fine that I catch back up when I get back into town. (This is also the Private School that she now teaches at full-time starting this year, so I am sure someone mentioned it to her)
Based on my opinion of her stating that I would be responsible for the full tuition if they remained there, the bad side of me doesn't want to respond or just text back "I have it under control". But I know that isn't the route to go.
