There can always be HOPE as long as that is kept within YOU.
You can just have NO EXPECTATIONS.

You must get on living your life "as if".

Truly the LBS is the one that gets to decide in the end.

If right now you are not getting to decide then it is not yet THE END.

Been worrying about H not sending the child support money this month as promised. He used to send it on the 24th of the month ( last time was in March). What do I do if I don't get it by the 31st. Do I send him an email to remind him?

I sent H an email yesterday to remind him that i haven't received the money for DD. So far he has not replied, nor has he sent the money.

I've spent some time trying to analyse his reasons for not responding or sending the money. Earlier in the month he sent me an email asking why the phone bill for the phone he got for me (and which i was paying for) was £600. I replied that I didn't know, since i stopped using it in may ( i did inform him that i no longer needed it and was getting my own line). As such i stopped paying the bill for it.

I realise that this may be PA behaviour on his part. Either way, the mind-reading does not help me.

I am considering filing for child support if he does not send it by September 7th. Unfortunately, the child support is less than he agreed to pay, but since he hasn't sent money since March, I think it's a better option.

What do you think i should do? do i send him an email asking if he got my other email? do i continue to wait? or should i inform him that since he's not paying, I am filing for child support?

Oh I thought he had been sending you money.
If he has no sent anything since March he is not going to start to send it now.

File for the CS.

He stopped after march cos he claimed he was out of work (which I dont believe). I then emailed him in early august to ask why he wasnt sending money for DD and he said he would send this month and pay the missed payments in instalments.

But he seems to have changed his mind.

So i drafted this email :

'Did you get my email two days ago? About Michelle's money? i know we agreed how much you would be sending for Michelle. however, you have missed the last five payments, so I think a legal arrangement might be more suitable for us. I am not going to be chasing you for this money and have decided to file for legal child support.'

Pls let me know what you think. Also DD travels in two days, and i am worried he might find out and claim that he doesn't have to pay as she doesn't live here (which she does, she's only going for some months, and will need support wherever she is, anyhow)

Should I send the drafted email? Edit it? Or just file for the child support without an email?
