Sailed trough work. Sailed through a meeting. Which I WAS very anxious about and funny enough since the weekend that feeling disappeared. Wonder if that was anything to do with what I'm learning here. Have the strangest feeling it is!
And home to see…… a big old girl at the window wagging her tail behind her!
Two more at the grindstone and its two weeks vacation. Bliss. First true break in two years. The one from exactly a treat ago didn't count. Not with a broken leg, wrist and unconsciousness
Already have the paint for the kitchen. And new cupboard handles. And the weed strimmer. I'm going to be busier that at work! That's after I've dragged my bum out of bed in the morning
So happy to see that Ashley is up and about and doing well! There is nothing in life like a dog, and her/his unconditional love, greeting you when you come home.
No other animal yearns to please its master as does the dog.
Samuel Coleridge said: "The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to him may become traitors to their faith. The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog."
