you need to be consistent and stand by what you say. it's not enough to say it and then less than 24 hrs later do the exact opposite.
and your behavior is seriously passive aggressive here. you buy her smokes and leave her a note, THEN you find out what a [censored] thing she did about the vet call and so you tear up the note and take the smokes away.
that's p/a behavior all the way.

from where i'm standing they are either 1. looking very mixed up or 2. seem to be propelling you towards doing some really goofy things here.
