I am really close to my 13 year old, soon to be 14. She is already planning that trip to Ireland I have been promising for her graduation in 4 years. Actually I am close to all the kids in different ways but D13 and I are very much alike.
I remember how cute they were as toddlers and you think, ok, why not another one? By the 4th one, I was done, finished. I saw a baby and I didn't even think I want another one. lol Every stage has it wonders, enjoy them all.
