Just remember, when she's spewing, you can always just say things like "I'm sorry you feel that way." or "I get it -- you're pissed." or "So you said." or "I understand that it's your position that __________. I feel differently."
etc.
However, if she is RUDE to you, or starts screaming or cursing at you, END THE CONVERSATION, and say "I'm done talking about this until you can use a more civilized tone. This isn't productive right now." Or something similar.
