Well looks like the new thread is off to a GREAT start....love the whole concept.....gulp! gulp!
I was laughing so hard last night!! while I lurked.... I couldn't get on long enought to post....S23 is hogging the Comp. this weekend!
I am going to rent Nemo this afternoon...have to catch up
Couldn't help but notice the back pack dilemma....
You were soooo smart not to go into that "deep end of the pool" with your "guppy"....
Just between us....living out of the back pack is a way of life for teenage girls...maybe you can ease her distress by letting her know "the big girls" ALL do it that way ...
I haven't seen Laural without a major bag since 9th grade....and she's a third year college student now!!!
In fact when she comes home....there is a major bag.....yes she has one very large gym bag.suitcase for trips of more than four hours....even if she's only in for the day!!!
I actually still worry she is going to throw her back out carrying all that STUFF around.....
Since she was in athletics all her life....two or three bags were sometimes needed....her bookbag may be traded in for a purse when she graduates...but I wouldn't bet on it!
In fact she hardly even unpacks when she's home over break she just sorta operates out of the bag....
This is a girl that has changed her clothes at least three times a day since she was two....
We use to think she was a recreational dresser!!
I gave up when she was three trying to pick up after her....I could never tell what she ACTUALLY wore and what had just been try on clothes.....she changes he clothes if the light changes!!
She goes from cheerleading to volleyball to track and swimming...working out and dance...sometimes two or more of these activiites in a day....so tell V she needn't feel bad!!
She's just ahead of her friends...pretty soon they'll all be doing it!!
Gonna go for a run before it cools down again...got down to 4 last night brrrrrrrr...
All little fishy's that swim in the sea will get frostbitten
