Thanks for answering veroprado. Just wondering based on what happened with H this past weekend.

We all have two dogs inside of us. One dog is positive, happy, optimistic, and hopeful. The other dog is negative, mad, sad, pessimistic, and fearful. These two dogs often fight inside us, but guess who wins the fight? The one you feed the most.

Don't feed the negative, gnawing dog.

This is great. I of course feed the negative dog ALL the time. In fact, it's been getting gourmet meals lately. LOL Thanks for the reminder LITB. I'll be thinking on this today.

Gourmet meals? Mine get the good stuff too lately but you're right LITB, it's like you keep feeding into that. I heard a saying, If you feel like you're at the bottom of the pit, STOP DIGGING! LOL!

This week has been great as far as my interactions with H. No negative talk on my part although I have been fighting within me to keep the negative thoughts out. It's a lot of work and I keep on working it!

Today he called me to tell me something great they told him at work. I praised him and lathered him up with affirmations! He ate it up. I am very proud of him. Before, when I first started doing the affirmations I wanted to gag. Now I truly believe what I say! (most of the time...)

Tonite his friends will be at a family party at MILs house. Another semi-awkward event. I hope to do this well. Be positive and enjoy myself! Besides, we are celebrating a birthday not a funeral!

Ohhh! I forgot to mention something else. This is funny.

Yesterday I took the kids to the beach. I put on make up (like always since bomb) in the morning and fixed my hair. H said, why are you looking like that if you're going to the beach. I said, so I can be admired and laughed. He said nothing.

It's funny because he NEVER compliments me or points out my appearance at all! So I took it as a compliment nevertheless! cuz he noticed I looked good!
