Thanks TVS, i'm feeling better today. Yes I'm sure something will come up in time. It will take a while in the current economic climate. But I guess there's no rush. H was supportive and said take a break for a while. That's a good sign as he is obviously happy to pay all the bills for now. Always looking for those little signs.
Decided to help a good friend paint some rooms in her house. That will keep me out of trouble.

But I like to see you drawing the positives out of the situation. It's so good your H could respond as he did. It shows how much he really cares for you deeply. Just think, there are so many negative ways he could chosen to respond, but he didn't!
Sounds like the little break helping someone else is a good idea. Maybe some ideas of what you could do will come up while you do a mundane task such as painting.
