WOOOOOOOW!! I just read both complete posts from beggining to here.When you read it all at once, it's amazing to see the change in attitude over a few months. If I had kept the same attitude that I had from the start, I'd have been crushed, continually manipulated and used. Well, for anybody bored enough , or just plain crazy enough to have read these posts, or been around long enough to remember me, here's an update, some 5 1/2 years later !!! The Wife and I did eventually get divorced the next summer. By that time she had, I believe, stopped seeing the OM. She later married another guy with whom she and the OM worked with. All three of them eventually had to take a buy out from work when the economy nose dived. A couple of years ago, the OM was was driving with his daughter in the car, when the car was struck by an out of control S.U.V., killing his daughter. She was about 9 yrs old. This is a guy that I used to fantasize about killing, but with this news, I could only think that I would not wish that pain on my worst enemy. And if I ever had an enemy, It would have to have been him. But that was horrible to hear.
The relationship with the girlfriend mentioned in the previous posts slowly escalated to the point that we were living together "IN SIN" , until I made her an "HONEST WOMAN" on Dec 16, 2011. ( maybe she'll stop all that lieing !! LOL just kidding)
After she remarried, my now ex-wife and I had a few occasions to talk about situation, to sort the whys and what ifs, to get closure. I haven't talked to her in over 2 years. I do run into her son sometimes. He has a baby !! My son is a fireman. Life marches on !
