i still struggle with that a lot. we have to watch ourselves. unfortunately it's the emotions that get pulled up because the brain kicks in the anxiety as a defense mechanism

so no tricks - just yourself - cancel her out of your mental picture for a while until you are stronger in this.

Last one for today.

Had stunning home cooked Pitza - Ham & mushroom. Ate the lot!
Had a proper cooked lunch.

And why? Because after a month of chasing my own tail, I finally got it. Got what I'd forgotten. Got what everyone here has been shouting.

It's about me. It is. I am going to be alright.
Detach. I can't do anything over which I don't have direct control. And what would that be? Me.

Breath of fresh air. Peace for the first time in ages. Even my dogs are "talking" to me again.

This started yesterday but really kicked in today.

Boys and girls, I'm truly grateful.

I am going to second this as well. That and the fact that I do not believe in the "fog." In the past three years, I have come to the realization that the "fog" is just a way for the BS to stay engaged... A justification so to speak in order to make one feel better about the situation they are facing. Let's call a spade a spade... The sitch is pure donkey butt, there is no fog, only selfish and self-entitled behavior... Now what are you going to do (for YOU) with the rest of this beautiful day?
