On V day I had plans to have a massage and lunch with my girlfriend. I did not take my pager and turned my cell phone off. I was not going to answer in the middle of the most wonderful massage I have ever had!!
My GF and I had a nice lunch even though we were pretty much jello.
On my way home I decided that I was not done pampering and stopped to get a manicure. In the middle of the manicure my cell phone rings. It is H! He said he was calling me since I haven't been lately, his tone was very fun, but the message I think was meaningful to him. I reminded him of the early morning call just to say HI and give him hugs. He said Oh yeah. We talked a bit about what we were doing and I told him about the massage and that I was getting my nails done. Our conversation was really nice. He wished me a happy v day. I told him that I got a REALLY special gift. I started describing the chocolate and the soft sweet puppy that HE gave me. I told him that the puppy is sitting on my night stand. He in a joking way said that it wasn't from him. I told him yes it was and it was so sweet!
I think part of him REALLY needs this reassurance.
I asked him if he had received the letter I had sent and he had not. ASSumption is that OW intercepted it. I sent H the same letter in an Email.
About an hour later H called again. He wanted to ask me some "computer questions". They were problems that he was having but nothing I could really help him with. But he turned to ME to ask his questions!
No contact yesterday. Today I sent him a page saying that I was at work, and wished him good luck house hunting. I did put a small case xo at the end of the page. He paged back saying Thanks! and to have fun at work.
I have a question from all the wise veterans....
Where in the MLC timeline does reconnection occur? Any ideas on this?
