Managed to go to bed a little earlier and actually slept through the night for the first time. No fretting if she was coming home. No waiting for the sound if the door.
Went shopping for some dinner at Woolworths (not plugging the name I promise) and chose to walk through the watering hole for a quick one (first in over a week). It's a shortcut to the car park.
Saw Great Britain win the canoeing! Had a chat with two of the barmen who are friends. Said my goodbyes and walked through the garden area. And. W was there, the "friend" with leg stretched out after her knee op, another mutual femal friend who was holding the most beautiful 6 week old puppy! Thank goodness she was because it brought the higgest beaming smile to my face and got me into a full on "he's georgeous" mode. Lots of nose licking (from the dog!). W was smiling like crazy at her H acting all mushy. No I'm not taking notes. And no I don't have any expectations.
Looked a bit annoyed when I said "bye folks" and didn't make a fuss over her.
Btw - W didn't come back last night but that didn't stop me dropping off a lot sooner than normal. She's now nursing "friend". So that's turned out okay. She's out from under my feet and I don't have to look at her every day. Relief from that stressful situation.
My L sent an email to hers suggesting a meeting of all parties. He's requested 3 dates. I can see and hope this date shuffling "game" can go on a bit. He's busy in the High Court most days.
Well well well. Been doing some tidy up and dusting in the bedroom.
And on the bedside garble on her side - two books on the top of the pile that I didn't put there! On the very top "Rescue your Love Life" and under that "What every woman wants in a man".
So she can read but not talk about things!
I WAS going to put them by her computer with a note and then thought rather not.
What the bells going on in her head? No I'm not expecting any answer. It was a rhetorical question.
