h just called - well he left a message first saying - we have a lot of stuff to get done here, can i call him back

when i called he asked what i was doing today and whether we could get together to talk. luckily i have the intern coming in a few minutes so said that i could after 2 or 4 depending on how long she stayed.

he kept saying we have stuff to take care of so i asked casually - did he mean about the taxes and stuff and his reply was well we have to figure out what's going on between us (????? ) and we need to get the ball rolling on stuff here.

he was nervous - stammering...

so i'm a bit nervous now, trying not to expect the worst and at the same time almost being resigned to it.

i need to stay on that picnic blanket
