Trusting,
Interesting how several of us on this board have fully moved on and are making better lives for ourselves now, and have optimistic lives ahead of us.

It isn't something to crow about, of course. I am sad for X, sad that things had to be this way. I don't hate him but neither do I want to be around him. I think sometimes of what things might have been like.

But I know that for some reason, it had to be this way. And I have learned and grown from the situation. I will not be in such a situation again.
