No. The neighbour's phone is really off. I sent a text and also left a voicemail, but i haven't heard from her. I'm going to re-apply for the documents on Monday. Had to contact H to get her number, and replied thanks.

Haven't posted in a while...

My mum arrived on Sunday, and has been a big help with DD since then. Now that i'm free to GAL, i've been trying to come up with ideas for a GAL for one, but i'm stuck.

Any ideas?

Since you are in the UK, why not browse the meet-up groups? There must be some groups in your area that you can join in and have some fun or do something interesting.

In the meantime, start thinking about what you enjoy and how you might be able to incorporate that back into your life.

Or, take an adult education class somewhere - you will get something out of it and might meet people - though I wouldn't count on it too much for the social aspect. Actually, many times after class there is a pub drink so that's something social.

A funny thing happened:

I re-applied for my documents on Monday, but my application got returned to me yesterday because I forgot to write the chassis number. Meanwhile, I woke up to a voicemail from my neighbour saying that she had just returned from a month in China, and I could pick up my mail this morning.

I've picked it up now, the documents i need are there so that's good (hopefully i can get my money back from the postal order). Some of H's mail was there (among the mail i picked up), do i ignore that or email him to let him know?
