Regarding my exit strategy, I've touched on it a bit above, but basically it involves turning the tables on my W and our R and filing. I've done the homework and know that I will be fine. I've got a plan for my future that involves doing things that make me happy and fulfilled. I've acquired friendships over the past many months that I will always cherish. These friends are my support and my lifeline to a better place.

Well folks, I did it! I attended my first meet-up/salsa event tonight. It was so far outside of my comfort zone, I can hardly believe it!
When I arrived, the dance floor was already packed so I sat in the back where the meet-up group had set up. Eventually one of the female meet-up organizers gave me a private lesson because she said they would "eat me alive" out on the dance floor.
Another girl, all 6'4" of her asked me to dance bachata with her...on the dance floor. And then another girl from the group asked me to dance salsa with her and then bachata. They all knew I was a newbie so they were gentle with me .
So this is how it is done, guys. Pretend you don't know how to dance and the girls will come flocking to you. I had a great time!!
More to tell about other things going on in my life but I will reserve that for anew thread.
