GALBaby. Just wondering: does your husband spend much time with good guy friends? Sometimes we rely on our friends to call us on our ridiculous behaviors and set us straight. Not saying it solves EVERYTHING, but it might help some. But the trick is they need to be good friends that will get him to at least admit everything isn't perfect.
H might have some other things lifting while wearing the speedo. Maybe not fog. Lol! Idk.
I'm going to start trying to see the funny side of things instead of sad.
How about starting today? H is going after work today to look at a Mercedes 2-seater convertible. I was joking around with him with how he will "sizzle" in it. I said "is it really fast?" H said it's got eight cylinders.
Funny thing is -- we've already got a 5.0 liter mustang red convertible in our garage he bought LAST July! Not to mention our SUV! How many gas-guzzlers do we need when gas prices are going up?
Well, our saving grace is our Toyota hybrid he drives back and forth to work. ....the lighter side.....

GAL baby, sorry for hijacking the thread. I'm reading your sitch. It looks familiar like I've read it here and there but now I'll keep current on it.

Didn't you know they are texting the "mother" ship. They need to get direction on what to do next 'cos there brains are scrambled.
The "speedo"!! I am an Ozzie and our H's all grew up in them. Mine included. He still has them but only wears it around our own pool.. not in public. But that could change any time depending on where he is on his journey!! LOL
Love your comment TVS about the fog lifing while wearing it. Hope you're around to witness it RH. Send photos.
Tks still learning. H only exhibits those crazy behaviors at home. As far as I know he acts as if all is well outside the home. Not even telling anyone what's going on. He's a happily married family man to the outside world.
You are lucky I think about him saving these behaviors for home.
A month after my H moved out -- he attended a racy sexual art show in the city with his new friends. Listen to this: he dyed (temporary) his light hair black. He bought black skinny jeans, skin tight shirt, black lipstick, black fingernail polish, clip on earrings and a huge fake silver chain. Then he had his friend take a pic of him for his FaceBook profile. (remember people used to think he was a pastor!)
At the time I was shocked but just typing this I'm ROTFL!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if they have had luck getting their partner to get help for their depressive issues. I've brought it up with H briefly, but don't want to preach or ram it down his throat. I know that that could drive him further underground. It' s possibly going to help a lot if he recognises there is a problem. Any ideas?
I have mentioned to my H that maybe he should think about talking to a counselor. This was a few months back when he was saying all the hateful things about himself. He told me "I'm not in the mood for all that." Whatever that is supposed to mean.
I think by getting professional help, they would have to start really looking at themselves. And we know that is certainly not on their to do list.
My IC told me all I can do is bring it up to him, I can't push him to go.
Hope this helps!
