Haha I think even if the mother ship beamed him up..he would be returned...I'm the only fool who would put up with him. LOL.
Well in all fairness I'm trying to hold on to the fact that in all that confusion is the caring loyal and hardworking man I married. I see glimpses of the old H at times. Maybe that's not a good thing, maybe it is. Time will tell I guess.
I'm ok thanks. No good news to report, but no bad news either. That's a positive. Just cruising along just about the same. Are you back from your spa break? I left you a message on your thread. Hope you had a well earned break. Thanks for thinking about me. I'm always thinking about you too.
The spa was wonderful, just what I needed. H was nice about taking the boys all day, and even commented about how I always let him do stuff. Now that's progress!
It is hard when we see glimpses of the real guy, isn't it? Whenever I get down about the OW, I remind myself that she does not have my H. The guy who took vows with me, put the ring on my finger, held my hand through labor, and so many other good things would be disgusted at the aliens behavior.
If men are from mars and women from Venus, mlc'ers must be from a whole different galaxy.
Our "real" guys are in there somewhere. Hopefully we'll see them again. The sooner the better!!!
Hope you are taking good care of yourself and finding ways to be good to YOU!
Always thinking of you too. At least we're in this together

I'm glad you enjoyed the spa. And even gladder that your H noticed something positive about what you do. Those times are few and far between.
Got another funny (or rather tragic) MLC story. Son 18 bought a new pair of skinny leg jeans. Son is about 6'3" tall and very slender. H came across the jeans and had to try them on to see if the skinny leg jeans fit the new more improved model. Well the delight on his face when he realised they fit him. Off he went prancing through the house showing them off to anyone who was remotely interested...not!(and much to son's dismay). At least it kept H happy and amused for a while. Positives, positives.
His obsession with himself is the topic of much discussion in our house when H is not around.
I liked the story about H not liking the color towel you chose to wipe up a spill!
A couple months ago I bought paper towels that had chili peppers printed on them and I mentioned I usually only buy solid white ones. H became agitated. "why can't you buy other colors? Why does it always hafta be the same?"
Let's you in on a little corner of their mind!!!
I'm enjoying the posts!

Honestly, don't you wish they could see how ridiculous they are? Just because you are thin enough to wear something doesn't mean that you should.
I can just imagine the look of horror on your sons face.
If your H breaks out a speedo, have him committed.
What my H is ridiculous about is the texting. He carries his phone around like it is an appendage. Things my H will text during:
Cutting grass/weed wacking Shoveling snow Family meals Driving (totally safe- what an idiot!!!!) Exercising Watching tv Watching movies Playing with kids Having a conversation with anybody I have seen him fall asleep with it
They truly are immature irrational teenagers. At least I will be well prepared when my boys become actual teenagers!
Our funny stories do make this more bearable - we should write a book one day

My H has the speedo. Took it with him to wear at the community pool at his new apartment. At least he wears regular swimming trunks at our home around the boys!
Tell me some more thngs to make me laugh!
The phone addiction IS shocking!!! But now I'm shocked if he doesn't use it for an hour.
We have unlimited textng. H moved out late march. In April our total phone texts between H, S18 and me was 11,000. Probably 2,000 of which were me and S18. Month of May was 13,000. Then down to 8,000. It's mind-boggling!!!

Welcome to our conversation, or as GALbaby put it "the lighter side of MLC."
The phone stuff is truly baffling, until we think of them as a teenager. I am living with a 41 year old teenager. Fun! That is crazy the number of texts your H has!!! You just want to yell at them, "who the hell are you texting and what is so friggin important????"
How dare you only buy white paper towels? What's next, white tissues and napkins?
The worst was around the BD time when we all walked on egg shells around here. I swear, anything would set him off. At least that has gotten better.
I can't believe your H has a Speedo. Wouldn't it be great if he had a sudden fog lifting while wearing it?
Glad you're here, but wish you didn't have to be. Keep smiling!
