Anchorage is great! I love that town. I'm tad in Japan right now, no wifi in the room, and typing on the phone in the lobby, but I'll write some of my favorites for you when I get home.

My stbxw called me yesterday, 3 time in one week. She wanted to know how our dog was doing. We had a very pleasant conversation. I have talked to her more in two weeks than I have talked in 10 months. What gives? Any thoughts from the seasoned vets out there?

The three times I actually spoke to her on the phone since last october were for business purposes, i.e. taxes, sale of property, etc. About a month ago we had to talk about divorce proceedings and she asked me if i would like to take the dog for a month in the summer.

We talked twice in the last two weeks to make arrangements for transfer. We met this past sunday, and she emailed and called me yesterday to see how the pooch was.

Every encounter has been friendly and without rancor. I am not expecting anything, but something in the back of my atavistic brain is saying something is different, dont know how to articulate it, and definately am not getting excited or riled up.
