Hey all--

Really wishing my post would get "posted". I feel like a wreck today.

The wife and I normally email a few times a day and here it is 1pm and I haven't emailed her yet. I know I shouldn't but it's like I really need to hear from her.

Yesterday she didn't wear her rings and it really, REALLY bothered me. First time she has gone all day without wearing them in the 10 years since we have been married. She woke me up this morning and she was dressed for work and I noticed first thing they weren't on. So stupid me says, "Are you not wearing your rings again today?" To which she replied, "I dont have on any of my jewelry yet. Yes I'm going to wear them"

I feel like emailing her to apologize but she will see right through that as a way for me to get an email from her.

Later today, I am going to shower/shave and get dressed really nice and go down to the hospital to see if there is some sort of volunteer work I can do down there in the afternoons. I feel horrible and maybe if I am able to help someone I will start to feel better.

Just an update here. She emailed me at 4 pm to ask me some small detail about a charge on our checking acct that could have waited until she for home at 5:30. I don't know if she sent the email as a way to check on me or to see if I would reply

Let me give up the need to know why things happen as they do.
I will never know and constant wondering is constant suffering.
