hi vera, it might be good to speak with an agent who understands investment properties to advise you on the possibility of renting it out. there are some tax deductions that might make it more palatable.

i know the feeling of not wanting to have ties.. but my W and I have an investment prop and it would not make sense to sell now. so we communicate via email, business only, and it has been ok thus far.
