Well, well, well it seems I actually spread a ray of sunshine - without me even realizing it! Folks, it wasn't beer talking.…… It was cheap whiskey and coke
Cb, ss, serenity there's a new rule in my book - no blogging after midnight! And no decisions either.
Cb - me write a book? What and give all the royalties to my W?
On a serious note (that would be a b flat) the W was in Durbanville with ? Probable with her niece as W told me they're eaten the lasagna I'd made on Wednesday. I said I was pleased that she had and I thought it she hadn't eaten it on Thursday because it was "off" - as a joke. The W took it at face value (I think).....
"Niece and I enjoyed it very much. I hope we don't get sick by tomorrow. It normally takes 24 hrs for food to be digested. Will let you know" !!!!!!
See what I mean? She really is a Boermeisie (someone from a farm).
Well - its me off for a shower to clear the cobwebs. Let's see if the other niece and her boyfriend turn up later (the one that asked me what was up). She said she would try. And I'm NOT going to expect her to intervene. Just putting my best foot forward for all to see.
Cheers folks!
And a big (((((Serenity))))) can't let you get away without that
Hey Mac ever read Hunter S. Thompson or Tom Robbins?
As in "We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love." ?
Maybe
Oh my gosh. Gotta share this - been busy fixing one of those water catching thingies on the roof (dammit - brain freeze). After getting rid of the built up crud supplied by the starlings, I decided to work down and clean the drain out. Stuck the hose pipe in. The the gurgling started and what popped out? A FROG! I nearly needed a change in trousers! How it got in there is anyones guess. The back garden has high walls. It's been "re-sited" in the neighbours front garden (don't tell them!)
And now back to the windows while you lot are snoring;)
Hoping two things are going to happen:
1. Niece with boyfriend will drop in. 2. W with other niece will also drop in.
Can u tell I'm doing my best to keep my head above water? Well it IS early days!
And another nugget to ponder on as sleep makes it way into my world……
Love is important because it gives you strength to fight weakness. It helps you survive the bad times with a smile on your face. It helps you fight that every negative emotion which shouldn't exist in your life. Love is important because it can kill a thousand worries with one smile, with one hug. Love can fight the entire world with values of faith and belief. Love is important because it brings people to together, to unite. It stays on your side when luck says goodbye and walks by. Love stays with you even when you're defeated, only to make you stronger and try again, not being disheartened. In the end love will win, something we all believe in, isn't it?
so there you are mac - being flippant through all your posts - and then you come up with this ^^^^^
is there more depth to you than meets the eye?
i just want to say, be careful that your flippancy isn't your habitual way to avoid pain and do the real work that needs to be done
big hugs and hope you sleep all
even though i haven't posted - i've kept caught up on your thread everyday - there's something about you that's catchy - trying to put my finger on it (grin!!)
