I am in full agreement that we cannot work on our marriage, while a third person is there and I can no longer give in to him and then he has a girlfriend too. I have read DR, and am re reading it now. I am also focusing on myself, kind of preparing for the worst, hoping for the best. I have lost 50 lbs since D Day, and have finished my bachelor’s degree. I am starting pre-reqs in January to possible start my accelerated nursing program. I have also realized the only person I can control is myself. I do not want to force anyone to love me or stay with me. This is his battle, his mess—as far as the affair is concerned. And He needs to work it out.
