I've been super busy with the kids, work, sports,and GAL. It's been wonderful and I feel really good. I've kept my interaction with STBX to a minimum, although he keeps attempting to sit near me and all of the moms at sporting events. It was uncomfortable at first but I just watch the game and don't give it any thought now.
We don't have a financial hearing until 7/11 but we were planning to attempt to sit down to discuss S18's college tuition, student loans etc to at least have a game plan. I put it in writing that I would not agree to anything without my L and he said ok.
This morning I emailed him, as he still has 5 boxes of clothes in my garage. He left them in his closet and I wanted to clear the room to make it mine. I boxed it up and put everything in the garage. He said he would get it and also his dresser, but that was weeks ago.
So I emailed to say that S18's party will be using that room (pool table is in there) and he may want to grab them if possible.
His response was "my attorney has advised me not to remove anything further from the home that are not necessities. I did not ask you to pack my belongings. It is still my house too"
My response was "If you aren't worried about your clothes (necessities) than neither am I. I didn't realize our attorneys needed to be involved in laundry bags. That being said, we should not have a financial discussion re: college tuition without them regardless of how preliminary it may be. We will wait until the 11th"
I am proud to not give in to it, but he is clearly going to make every step difficult along the way. I get to choose my reaction, and for that I am thankful!!
