You have a lot of time between now and December. It sounds like you are off to a good start with reading MWD's book. Are you reading DB or DR? I recommend both, as well as The Five Love Languages to start.
Have you spoken yet to the marriage counselor to determine if he/she is pro-marriage?
How old is your H?
