Kind of going crazy...so the usual. Having to get last minute stuff for school projects. This is the last week of school. I am so excited!
I will be house sitting for my parents, D13 has a mandatory meeting for her DC trip tomorrow. I am trying to find a dress for my reunion and am losing my mind in the process. I hate this stuff and I really hate to shop. Semi-formal so something I will most likely never wear again. I narrowed down a choice to rent but they couldn't get it to me until after the event already started. What, 2 weeks isn't enough time??
I will be really happy when all this is over.

The wedding was beautiful and the rain held off until the reception had just ended...then in poured buckets!
I'm doing the same thing with the school projects...thankfully I only have to done that for one, not 4! I'd lose my mind. I have no idea how you handle all of that but I'm totally in awe of you!

Just had to stop in and vent! Yesterday was the last day of school for my girls and today was for my Sophmore son. Anyway while at work yesterday, S16 calls to let me know that D13 left her glasses at the skating rink and that D11 once again forgot her violin(which is rented until she finishes growing). I called the school and the rink with no one answering. As I left work the skating rink called and said the glasses were taken back to the school.
I go by the school and no one is there. I knew that 8th grade graduation was today and I wasn't looking forward to fighting the crowds. I finally find a parking spot and go in but no one is in the office. Fortunately the Principal's assistant is there and knows me. She let me in the office to get the glasses and the band room for the violin. Only thing is that I am not 10% sure it is her violin. When I get to work I check out the case and it just doesn't look right.
I shoot off a quick e-mail to ex who then calls me and gives me the number that should be on the violin and case. Just got back from lunch. Brought the violin in and it matches. Thank goodness. Relief after a lot of stress and panic!

I was so exhausted once the stress of the whole situation was over. Basically on pins and needles over the logistics and then if I got the right instrument. D11 was very happy to see her violin. Wish she wasn't so absent minded!
My parents are on a road trip up in Wyoming and South Dakota. The pics are making me want to go on a road trip myself!
