Well, H just called. He said, (and I could hear the smile in his voice), "thank you for the message." Me: "Hey!" H: "Oh, that's right, I wasn't supposed to mention it!"
So, no major damage control to do. Guess what? I'm not even all crazed about the fact that there was no, "I love you, too." All in good time....
Thank God he called though! I just finished a big cheeseburger.... no telling what else I would have worked my way through while stewing over this....
