If you don't have a crock pot (slow cooker) I highly advise getting one. In the morning or night before you pop in meat and veg a bit of water or a tin of tomatoes and whatever spices you like and turn on before you head off to work. There's nothing better than coming home knowing dinner is already DONE. I usually make a side of rice.

Not splitting the cooking anymore was tough for me. So when I cook I still make big portions (H was a big eater) and then freeze what's left. The next week I can defrost spaghetti sauce, chilli, etc and it's like I didn't have to cook!
