I agree w/Beatrice...he was having a moment of clarity and he thought he would text you. You responded correctly and now you have to let it go. Many times the alien will send a postcard from Mars just to let you know that they are still out there.
Btw, they don't have a clue that their postcards can rock our little world for a short period of time. Their empathy chip is broken so the postcard is just that a note to just say "hey", nothing more. There is no real feeling behind it, so to speak.
