Oh and they had been friends with benefits for the past year. He had said last July that being with someone younger just wasn't the thing for him. He had even flown to Toronto to meet this lady for a date. Maybe she was talking about moving or something. Beats me.

Supposedly they are both fixed, sexually anyhow. Lol. They moved in together a while back after having never even dated. He had been a sort of father figure back when she was in college and he was married and his kids were young. Just creepy feel all around.
I know he wouldn't have been good for me as everything has to be his way. I am not putty, though he may have tried to mold me when we dated back in senior year. Maybe that is what he sees in cupcake. Someone who will do whatever he wants. Plus she has two young boys, and he has her working for him. She counts on him for everything.

Blech....blech, blech, blech is all I can say. It does sound like he may have wanted a woman who would do whatever he says, be whatever he wants, etc. We all know that is SO not you! You're your own person!!!!

So true! It was kind of cold here this weekend. I was mowing and shivering in my sweatshirt! D11 sprained her ankle while she was with her Dad. He didn't get it checked out and I don't have the new insurance cards for them.
So typical of him. Gggrrrrr. Well she is able to put weight on it and she was hobbling around last night and this morning. I called and got her excused from gym. He is so clueless. Oh and K must be too!!

kat: Were you married to MY husband??? He would not have done a thing about it. He would have brought her home and let me deal with it too. UGH! My daughter and I were away for a week one time. When we got back we noticed that her cat was lying in the bushes, not coming in when she was called. Then we noticed she appeared injured. He had noticed it a few days earlier - thought she might have got hit by a car!!!! Ash and I took her straight to the vet. Her hip was displaced. As it had been too long - it had to be broken to be reset - a thousand dollar surgery. Of course the vet said we might want to put her down. She was only 4! And Ashley's baby. So we went ahead with the surgery. If Dickhead had done something about it - she would have not had to suffer. She did end up ok but it was horrible. And that was a full year before he left.
I suppose because his new wife works in some medical office and he does insurance stuff, they must think they know all the answers. A few years ago, d11 got a bad cut that really should have had stitches. He just used the glue like stuff and she has a nasty scar.
Why doesn't he seem to have a realistic chip? His Aunt has Alzheimer's and hopes she will get better! WTF?? Sure I would love for her to get better but I don't think they are anywhere near getting a cure. His Dad threatened to kill himself and he barely bats an eye.
I know in both cases with ex and K I am better off but it makes me think that my guy picker must be broken!
I don't think I mentioned this part..K was getting a ticket for speeding and had an arrest warrant out on him, cupcake couldn't drive as she didn't have her insurance card and had a warrant out on her too. So off to jail they go and that is where he proposes! What a winner there! A dodged a bullet when he picked cupcake right?

They just were laughing the jail stuff off. I guess it was for minor infractions but still that is just wrong. The ring probably cost $50000 at least as it is a good size diamond with at least two rows of small diamonds around it. I think she mentioned that she liked it almost 2 years ago...just after she moved away but then came back.
I'm thinking you brought that out in a jail cell are you crazy? He is thinking of that joke where your best buddy is right there in jail beside you. Ugghhh I need to stop!
