Punkin, Maybe there is more to the picture than meets the eye. Your former in-laws most likely know that there is something seriously wrong w/their son and the move just might be a type of "intervention" w/respect to the drinking.
The new wifey is really going to have issues now because the in-laws are going to be right there in the same area and it's going to be difficult to put on a good front all of the time.
