Today I will be thankful.

God never promised me that my life would be easy. That it would be without hardship, or without pain.

He never said I would have to stop fighting or that I could not take the high road.

He never said that no matter how bad a person treated me, I should show them something other than the power of God's love.

But he did say that he would love me.. And that he would be there for me...

.... And that he created me to be a vessel for his love. And that I would live life to the fullest because it was filled with him.

So I am thankful today.. For the good and the bad... For the joys and the pain...

.... I am thankful because he gave his life so I could live mine to the fullest.
