I don't like their coach. He may be good but he has gotten every school that he coached at in trouble. Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Any awards they get, attach them with velcro because you'll be taking them down when he moves on.
Remember when his entire winning year at Memphis went away? Same thing happened at UMass I believe. they hire for the money he will bring in while he is there. I don't think that makes me think any higher of the schools as they know what kind of guy they are "buying".

Thanks! We had such an amazing run with so many comebacks. Not sure why we couldn't settle down and find our groove in the first half. I still believe we could have won. There were a few bad calls that just didn't go our way...I mean if it was a held ball for them then it shouldn't become a foul when we are doing the same to them.
Slept badly last night, I felt so bad for our guys. I hate to lose Thomas Robinson this year. He is a junior who lost his maternal grandparents and Mom all within a month last year. He will most likely go pro so that once he gets some money coming in he can try to get custody of his little sister. I think she is 9 now. Such a sad story. This kid who just turned 21 is incredible. I don't know how he has done it. I bet some of those tears last night were for more than just the game.

As a teenager, I remember being at a friends house one night for the Grey Cup game (that's our biggie football game north of the border) and my friends team lost...he was a huge fan. His mom came into the room and said "there's always next year, son" and he responded "go f@ck yourself"...our evening ended rather suddenly! So just remember Kat, there's always next year!
They played all the way through, just didn't win the National Championship. These kids have such big hearts and played through and won several games that maybe they shouldn't have but did anyhow.
Yes, I miss basketball every year when it ends and can hardly wait until November to come around again. I don't know why I fell in love with this game other than my being a flight attendant in North Carolina during March Madness. Not a whole lot to watch when you are on call waiting to be called into work. My ex went to KU and would watch the games so I did too. This has now been an on going thing now for 24 years!
I used to cry when one of our really good teams lost. When we lost in the first round of the tournament, I didn't sleep a wink. I am not sooo crazy now. Got a bit more realistic. There are real tragedies going on in the world. This isn't the end of the world but it still hurts a bit.
