I don't do to well with herbal teas. I did have some hot tea and it helped a bit. I remember as a kid my dad would get me a chocolate shake and it always seemed to help, so that was lunch.
I really don't know how I got through the day. I was totally wiped out by the time I got home. I am laying down now and hope to take a short snooze

Slept like a rock last night and feel better today. I am not going to push it though. I lost an extra 3 pounds over three days from not eating much and being sick. That all may be a fluke but I'll take it for now as long as I don't have to keep going through this!

3 pounds is great but it stinks that it came that way!
Glad you are feeling a little better today. I hope you find a way to manage it so it doesn't ruin your weekend.

p.s. - Saw a beautiful cardinal hopping around in the pine straw today. He was all puffed up and looking for love but all the other birs around were sparrow and blue jays.

Thanks hon! That extra 3 puts me at about 11 lbs down so far. Clothes are fitting better. My Mom even mentioned that it looked as if I had lost a little weight. I missed seeing them a week so she could tell more.
I asked my kids but they pointed out that it is hard to tell when you see someone all the time!
That cardinal is going to find someone...he just needs to be patient.

Right before the KU game, the boys and I thought we saw ex outside the venue. Anyway watched the game and after I thought I would post a note about his fan twin.
FB opened Jo to his info. Being a tad curious, I saw how he was going on about being a dad to four great kids and now two step kids. Acting as if they were the Brady bunch...they are rarely together! Anyhow he mentioned how his wife is the love of his life and she completes him. While I am thinking how cliche that is and also how insecure he is alone, I felt a bit hurt.
Lesson learned to not snoop, it just brings up old wounds.

Nicked it more like. Nothing like how it would be if it had been shortly after the divorce. I was his dream according to him so he does have a bit of sn immature view of love and relationships. When it becomes work, it won't be love anymore in his book.
