Just try to keep your cool and keep thinking about all your buddies on DB!! Think about WWDBS or WWDBD (what would divorce busters say/do)!! We'll all be here thinking about you!!!

Oh frig you guys.

So I get an email at 5 AM my time, 3 AM P's time saying:

I just got in to Canada. It was a long flight. Lots of delays and 4 stops. I am pretty tired. I will be home at dinner time tomorrow night.

I write back: Poor you! Well since you're probably writing this before bed, do you mean tomorrow as in Tues nite or Wed nite? (Smiley face so he doesn't think I am being a nag)

He writes back: (only two hours later... so no sleep) Tonite, Tues. My flight times are such and such. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry for the confusion? That is the nicest he has been to me since before Christmas~

Sad but true.

So today... I am having a super hard time focusing.

Not to mention last night was night two of next to no sleep.

Lol!

oh geez guys. Tonites gonna be interesting. frown

I'm so friggen nervous/excited/freaked/calm/not calm/adrenaline driven/happy???

lol smile

Thanks for for the good luck wishes. I need it

PS: Purg: I *think* I asked to join the correct DB group. Hopefully you'll add me smile

So what's for dinner tonite? Be calm and take deep breaths. Don't smother him unless he initiates. Good luck you can do this wink

This is what you have been waiting for!! Try to be as calm as possible and make sure to be kind but not pushy! It's gonna be just as awkward for him too!! If he starts to be mean, I don't think he will the first day, make sure to stick up for yourself and tell him you won't tolerate it (I have had a hard time with this one).

Good luck!!

Thank you guys! ZEN is me! Maybe being so uber tired is a blessing in disguise as I will be more relax (Read: half asleep) lol

I just hope I'm not so overtired I get emotional more easily. Oh well, not much I could do. I really didn't expect him home tonight. If I had known, I would have def not taken the chance and knocked myself out with drugs last night to make sure I slept! smile

Rick: I have decided NO dinner. I actually have decided no bottle of champagne, nothing. In the past I usually buy filets and such and make nice for his return. Tonight he gets a clean house, a fed dog, and a bottle of wine I got for Christmas. C'est tout!

I really don't want to seem.... over-eager.

Besides... I'm the one that's been taking care of his house for the past year pretty much... wheres MY Champagne???! lol smile

Definately don't make a big to-do. Let him see what his missing out on (the things you usually do). You don't owe him anything right now! He has made this choice, so let him see what it feels like.
