You are an amazing blessing in so many lives, but especially mine. Thank you so much for being the marvelous person you are.

We are splitting the cost of a used one since eh helped me with my taxes. Not that I couldn't have done them alone but I am not a huge laptop fan and he is a faster typist! lol

He lost some of his grant for college next year though because he made a whopping 8000 this past year. It is the end of the world for him because he is a glass almost empty instead of 1/2 full kind of person. I told him where there is a will, it can be done. He still has his scholarships and a bit of the grant so any help is great in my book. He got one year paid for so he is luckier than most.

Thanks Mish! You should be getting a few packages today.

[censored] to lose the grant money since that doesn't have to be paid back. But yeah, there's always a way.

Sounds like you were far more productive than me. I made dinner and walked the dog.

None of us want him to take out loans to go. No reason to put that burden on himself. I told him that he could try for other scholarships, so hopefully he will go that route.

Girls have parent teacher conferences tonight and S16 has his tomorrow or should I say we have those. LOL

Well he did take up one of my ides by offering to tutor in German. He already has a couple of takers at the university and he is going to post up the High school too)I checked if it was ok with his German teacher.)

He also is selling stuff on Amazon to help make some extra money. I am proud of him by thinking outside of the box. Gee where does he get that from? smile

I think so but you know how it is to biased about your own kids. So you guys saying so to just confirms that is going to be alright. Remember he is so gloomy when things go wrong.

I have had the craziest week, D11 was sick the minute I got home Monday. Cooper chewed through my vacuum cord. S19 and I do taxes on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday were parent teacher conferences and tonight I am driving the girls out to my parents to spend the night. Thank goodness it is a long weekend, I have a bunch of cleaning to catch up on. Maybe I will do a bit each day and make sure I fit a nap in each day. LOL

If any of you have been following me on the alt, you know what a crazy weekend I had. I cleaned like crazy on Saturday because I needed to after the week I had. Then I couldn't find my cell. S16 went out and found it for me(in my car, fell into the pocket between the door and seat on passenger side...gee I didn't look there!) Then we lost D13's cat. She was so heartbroken. It became a huge task searching for him, inside and out. He came home yesterday morning!

Now today I find out that ex's job is going to basically disappear because the government has changed stuff locally. His company has decided to not pursue that contract. So he has abandoded ship as of March and has become an independent contractor with some company that is going to try and get this contract. Well, I can't control it so for now I am not going to sweat it. I need to figure out a way to do all of this on my own without him so I won't have to worry. Yikes!!
