Had a great day volunteering in my S10's class and then went to his party and my S6's party.
When we got home from school gave them and my S15 a few small presents I got along with card and W's favorite candy for her. Card was pretty generic and it just wished a happy day and I just put a smily face on it. She said thanks but of course didn't bother getting me anything.
I considered not getting her anything but decided that if I could give to her w/ no expectations that I felt it was the right thing to do so I did it.
Its quite easy to spin things and put our WAS in a negatively heartless light but their is no benefit in that except for an ego looking to feast on some negative energy. Sorry, but I'm not letting that happen anymore, at least not right now when I'm aware of it.
