And to add to the not-so-sure movie lists... Act of Valor. The movie features real Navy Seals as the actors. Looks A-MAZING... but I am sure there is still some wife/deployed hubby interaction in there.

Oh, yes! I can't stand to watch the previews for that movie. It makes my heart hurt so much! Thinking of all the deployments, homecomings, and communications in between. I love being a Navy wife and the thought of losing that part of me is really hard to swallow!
Definately not a good movie for the military spouses suffering and DBing right now!!

purg - you had a cry. so did i. and i was just thinking last night.. wow! it's been a while since i really cried! but the positive thing (yes there is a positive) is that it doesn't last as long and doesn't hurt quite as much. wouldn't you agree?

BF: having them done on Thursday! I've had fun searching the Internet for inspiration photos... And finding the lingerie for them. I really hope that one day, I'll be able to show them to H. But until then, I can have them to remind myself that I can be sexy and attractive (at least I hope they turn out like that instead of looking like someone pathetically trying to be sexy)

S6 was very talkative tonight- that made me feel sooooo good!! He and I normally talk a lot during the days when I'm home, but at night (and on the phone) he usually chats for a minute, and then gets off.... so tonight, was good for my heart
I talked with H about the project (that he failed to do, as mentioned in a previous post), he said it was resolved and would be turned in tomorrow. We talked about other random things with the kids, and H mentioned that the baby had slept in until 8:30. I was intrigued by this fact b/c by that time of day, H has already taken S6 to the bus stop and dropped the baby off with the babysitter (OW).... but he told me that he had to take the day off because he didn't have a babysitter available. [there were 100 questions I wanted to ask, but didn't] I told him it must have been nice to spend some quality time with the baby and S6 when he got home.
H had sent me some photos of the baby playing and taking a bath earlier in the day... I thanked him for doing so. He said: "I know how it feels to be away from them." I said: "yep. It seems like the roles have changed for now." he said: "yeah, i guess so." [I would love to hear that he has a new appreciation for how much work goes into the daily care of house and kids... a statement I will NEVER hear- but I'm ok with it.]
I'm really missing my boys tonight. The long talk with S6 reminded me of how much I enjoy our talks during lunch time and while driving in the car. And hearing the baby babble in the background, makes me miss his pudgy little cheeks and hugs.
I only have 4 more days till I can see them again! But that also means, I only have 4 more days to emotionally prepare myself for reality back home.... I've been having pleasant thoughts about slashing OW's tires or soaping her grass- not like I would ever do it, but it gives me a little grin during my day!

I just came back real quick to warn all of you- if you haven't already been traumatized....
AVOID FB!!! I went there b/c a friend said they sent me a message.... and I was smacked in the face by thousands of photos of friend's flowers, jewelry and other V-Day presents. Just ANOTHER reminder that I don't have a special loved one to share tomorrow with.
