GM- I never thought I would meet someone from pensacola!! (as you said on my thread) Usually people who are from here- stay here. My parents live up close to cantonement- and i went to Tate HS for a few years. I come back every summer with my kids. Being a military brat, we moved in and out of here a few times, but my dad retired here when I started college (in Jacksonville). It's kinda sad to see how some areas have been unable to recover from the hurricanes and the economy.... I'm glad I can remember it when there weren't so many vacant buildings.

I'm just tickled that a random stranger that I met on a divorce site (of all places!) is from this same town!!
