VALENTINE'S DAY DO'S AND DON'TS

Last year, H was in the thick of it all.... so I just gave him a card that was more of funny and not romantic at all. I couldn't remember it, something that had two dogs in it smelling each others butt....but I figure that why be sad? Just laugh it off!

Along that thought: I was in walgreens the other day and saw this funny card, that I thought was so appropriate for MLC'ers that I bought it. I took a picture of it but found out that I could not upload it here.... so sorry friends, it would have give you a good laugh, but anyway, let me describe it for you:

The heading says:

"DYSFUNCTIONAL VALENTINE HEARTS"

And the front shows a picture of valentine candy hearts, but instead of the standard mushy stuff, the written messages on them are:

U SOUND LIKE UR MOTHER

UR NOT THAT FAT

OK FOR YOUR AGE

ITS NOT U, ITS ME

PLUTONIC 4-EVER

NOT SO CLOSE, OK?

NOT TONIGHT

Inside the card it said: "When it comes to having a heart, you're the real deal!"

Now isn't that hilarious? It seems like someone in Hallmark must be having an experience with an MLCer!!! (yes, believe it or not, its a Hallmark card.... the one that says shoebox greetings)! The messages are so MLC script!

Anways, Happy Valentine to you all! I hope that one day, your sitches will be resolved, and you will be celebrating Valentines with your wayward spouse in the future.

This year, mine promises to be way better than last year. I got a naughty card for my H this year, with reference to wanting to take his clothes off....hehehe...but we are in piecing now, so I guess thats par for the course! And it still seems to be easier to do humour for the card than to be mushy, but I brought it up a notch with the raunchiness, as we have regained our physical relationship but not the ILY's ....and no, I am not giving the card I described above, so if anyone wants it, just let me know where I can mail it to....
