We have always helped the kids do something for each of us, and I usually do something for her myself, a nice card or something. My plan this year is to forego the thing i give her but still help the kids do theirs. I saw neat trick with pictures of the kids holding something, then have them make something to actually hold like a flower or something, or even put a real tootsie pop into the photo. They turn out pretty cute.
