haven't been here in awhile; things have been really good. hope everyone had a decent christmas; didn't think I was going to have one but things turned out ok. happy new year to everyone here........I'd like to come on here more to give what advice I could, but our PC is riddled with viruses(virii).

it's been a fast three years. been meaning to come back sooner but everyone hopefully understands how life can be sometimes.
the last three years with my wife have been great. we haven't had a single problem in our marriage, especially with infidelity. we go to counseling about once or twice a year for "maintenance", and regularly take time to let each other know what's wrong or what's not up to snuff.
when i came here three (or more) years ago, i read a lot of success stories and a lot of horror stories. i thought my marriage was totally doomed. i was depressed and losing weight and couldn't concentrate on anything (as many of you know from my posts).
it may not be the recipe for everyone else going through a really tough time, but a little love, patience, spirituality, and taking care of yourself and children can be healing.
i hope all the people on here that offered me help and peace of mind in the past few years have found some sort of healing in their lives. I wouldn't be where I am now without you.
to everyone else: i'm only in my early 30's, married for 5 years, so I don't have the experience and wisdom that most people on here have. I am just here to thank everyone and wish them well. separation, divorce, and infidelity are painful things. i hope everyone's ship fares well in their respective storms.

Great to hear of your success! I just went back and re-read your entire thread; you got some GREAT advice back then, and you really seemed to follow it. Great job!
And on a side note, anyone named "Badcompany" is OK in my book. That Paul Rodgers is amazing.
I'm sorry to hear that, BC. If there's no infidelity this time, you should probably start a new thread in Newcomers, and link to your old one(s) just so people have some background and perspective on your sitch.
