I can totally relate. It is the same in Baton Twirling (my sport) and skating although in Baton there are dropped batons and also falling to contend with. And an average spectator assumes the twirler who drops the baton the most is not accomplished. Not so! How would they ever improve their skill without going for the bigger and the better? And the only way to accomplish that is by TRYING the harder tricks. It's tough!
Anyway - SDA lady should always encourage your time with your girls -to do otherwise would make her not a good match for you. But I could understand her not wanting to hear about you spending time with your ex regardless of how your R with ex stands. You are on thin ice here.
But whatever - you've done nothing wrong - just hold your cards closer to your chest. You are far too willing to "tell all".
