My daughter went with me. I have a new Nokia C6 phone with touch screen and querty or whatever keyboard. I got a new number cuz it was less hassle...and I'm into less hassle. Yeah, it's a new company. So that's done...today I am a man!
I don't give out my cell either so it hasn't been an issue. I have just upgraded phones. My kids laugh because I don't text all that fast( kind of like the commercials) but no skin off my nose.
Supposedly you can text faster with the keyboard but you still have these big fingers comapred to these little keys! LOL

Well, any women I've dated love to text...so it's a must lol! Btw, I've found a wonderful outing for SDA Lady and I on February 12. It's a play at the Royal Alexandria Theatre and I can get tickets for $30 each, not bad.I guess I should ask her whether she's available on that date before buying the tickets...and tell her I have something special planned for us and need to know. Does that sound reasonable? I don't want to tell her in advance...but then she'll need to know how to dress...I dunno...HELP!
Uh, OK Barb. I talked to her tonight and she kind of made me tell her. She had a very hard day and was in a bad mood until I told her my Valentine surprise. I said that she'd be working on Valentine's Day, which she confirmed she was, so I wanted to do something special with her on the Sunday instead. It certainly perked up her evening. I first asked her if she was available on that day and she said "if it's a Sunday then it's always your day!" Anyway, I've bought the tickets online, printed them and we're all set to go on February 12 for the matinee show.
