I talked with SDA Lady tonight and on Sunday we're going to see the movie Big Miracle and afterwards have dinner at a Persian restaurant. She has coupons to get us into the movie for free and I have a gift voucher for the restaurant. She asked me where I got the gift voucher from, "Um, from STBX as a Christmas present" SDA Lady says "She's still very nice to you, isn't she!" SDA Lady thinks it's wonderful that I get along so well with STBX, "it's so good for your kids". Whew, close one! Hey, come to think of it, I'm taking a date out for dinner on STBX's money...how sweet is that lol. SDA Lady also wants to know what a Ground Hog is, what do they eat and what is the significance of Ground Hog Day. Um, wish I could answer all those questions lol!

Wii: Yeah - it's kinda funny. But here comes Barb with her "reminders"...

Don't talk about your ex so much. It is definitely a "don't talk about" subject on early dates. And I really think you need to rethink your gift choice. If anyone (other than perhaps my daughter) gave me a Jane Fonda dvd - I would be hurt and offended - regardless of whether I said I wanted it or not. Sometimes women say things like that because they are self conscious about their body image.

You are in the very early stages and you may feel very comfortable with her but don't screw it up. Some of the long standing "rules" are still the best.

Valentines Day is coming. You have time to get it right.

Romance = candlelight dinner (even if it is at home), a sweet card & chocolate. I will never forget my first Valentines Day with Josh. Wine Pairing dinner in a century home (looked like my dollhouse) by the fire and candlelight. The gift was simple - a box of Godiva chocolates. I drove home from that date (we met half way as it was a work night) - feeling "over the moon".

Anyway - you both seem to be on a similar wavelength which is great but there are certain things that help "seal the deal".

I've been thinking about Valentine's Day and she, of course, works until 8:00pm. I'd like to send her a Valentine's Day Edible Arrangement, cuz she loves fruit! But, she lives at her employers and doesn't want her employer to know about me yet. She says it's her personal business and not her employers. So, if I send such an arrangement I will be exposing our R to her employer which is a no no. If I discuss it with her to get her OK then it's not a surprise anymore. A late dinner? I dunno. I'm stumped at the moment!

give it to her a couple of days ahead of time when you see her. Valentines does not have to be celebrated on the actual day

That's the other option. We see each other on Sunday's, so I'll probably do something special then. On Valentine's Day, my guess is that her employers will want to go out and leave her to mind the kids. Also Barb, you are right about mentioning STBX! In hindsight, all I needed to say was the voucher was a Christmas gift, I didn't need to mention STBX. I'm just too damn honest, I hide sweet piss all lol! Thank goodness there's nothing bad to hide but I will try and eliminate STBX references. I am glad that SDA Lady is OK with my positive R with STBX, she said in a recent phone convo "I'm so glad you have such a special bond with your girls and you get along so well with STBX, it shows me what a good man you really are!" Yes, she says those things sometimes and I so value that about her...she's so nice. But I also have to recognize that mentioning STBX wears thin real fast lol! I texted SDA Lady this morning "Ground hog didn't see his shadow, that means early Spring. Hooray!" she replied "U seem happy, do U have plans?" and I said "to spend Sundays taking a tiny pretty lady on fun outdoor outings!" She said "Wow, I'm looking forward to that. We will have so much fun together!"
Yes we will, if all goes well smile

Which groundhog was that? Poor Phil says 6 more weeks of winter. Our General Beauregard here in GA didn't see his so spring is early. LOL! We just love these silly little critters don't we?
