Just talked with SDA lady and made our arrangements for tomorrow. She is such a sweetheart! Tomorrow she's going to go out in the snow to buy our bus pass so that we don't have to line up at the train station. I told her not to bother, there won't be a line but she insists. She says "I'll get the bus pass and you pick the restaurant" She says "where are we going to eat?' and being a typical man I said "I dunno, I haven't thought about it yet"...impressive, Whatis lol! She's very concerned about whether I'm well enough to go, "I don't want you to go out and get sicker, we can always go another time" I said I was fine. This lady works 13 hours a day six days a week, tomorrow is her only day off and she is looking forward to seeing the museum yet my health is her big concern. So nice. I think I'll keep her lol.
G, it's something I'm just not used to! STBX couldn't have cared less if I was sick, it was seen as an irritation that interfered with whatever she wanted to do and that was from day one. You know, when I told my shrink that SDA Lady had texted me "drive safely, the roads are snowy and slippery today" I had tears roll down my face. The fact that she thought of me really touched me...and I told SDA Lady so. This lady just has a knack for letting you know she cares. Every time I talk to her I come away feeling cared about. That's so nice... and I try and do the same for her. I told the shrink "we'll probably nice each other to death lol!"
We had a great time. We closed the museum! She so enjoyed having pictures taken of her with the Mummies lol. There was lots of touching between us. She wanted pictures of the two of us together. We had dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe, she'd never been there either. She enjoyed taking pictures there too. Next week we're going to the movies, she has two coupons for a free movie. Today she insisted on paying for our Museum entrance (which we $50), she said "we'll take turns, OK?" When I dropped her off I took her hand and squeezed it. No pushing for kisses or hand holding today. This is a lady who hasn't dated in as many years as me, she's conservative and I am respecting that. I'm just so enjoying being with her and knowing she's feeling the same about me. That's priceless! So ended our nine hour date.

In response she phoned to tell me what a great day she had with me, "Whatis, you are so sweet and nice to me, I so enjoy being together". She said she was just talking to her sister in Alaska about me who said "you seem so happy" and she said "I am!" Her sister wants to see pictures of me and our adventures today. I said "it's so nice that we both feel the same way so lets keep on doing what we're doing!" and she said "for sure, I want us to keep seeing each other!" So, all is well in Whatis's world...and in hers, apparently!
